Martin has extensive experience in the fields of commercial property law and local government law, having worked in practices devoted to those fields for 8 years prior to joining Christensen Vaughan in 2006. He has particular experience in preparing land development agreements and in negotiating and preparing office and retail leases, agreements concerning Crown land, and telecommunications leases. Martin has negotiated and drafted management and related agreements for a major sports stadium in Perth and has conducted due diligence on major rural and CBD property acquisitions. He also has experience over several years in advising retirement village operators and aged care providers on property law and public liability law and is intent upon developing a specialist practice in respect of these industries.
